On this page , from time to time , we shall post comment upon the events that affect and effect we Canadians . Especially those that scream out " what are they thinking " . Too many of our Federal MPs seem to live in a world much different than the more pratical one that the majority of us live in . Real change is effected slowly in Ottawa , and under the Harperites , it is decided upon by the few in his inner circle and not by the MPs that we elected to represent OUR interests.
Business legislation is being put forth by Jim Flaherty and Harper , neither of whom have ever run a business , and it shows up in policy they force upon us . Demorcracy is absent in Ottawa as I write - a more apt description of the Conservative / Reform party is " an elected Dictatorship ". I'll not go into how this can be remedied herein , but I'll address this in a separate policy posting .
